Please be sure to identify the horses and riders if possible.This year NAPPA celebrates its 5th anniversary!!! We’d like to make our NAPPA Championship Day bigger and better this year. Make sure you ride in some qualifying races early in the spring, so you will qualify to compete at the Championship on May 27th. NEW for 2006 We’ve added a Young Rider Timber Race for ages 16-21 to the Maryland Jr Hunt Cup Race Day. This will be a qualifying race for the NAPPA Championships and those who compete at the Jr MHC will be eligble to compete in either timber race at the NAPPA Championship. Entries for the Jr MHC Young Rider Timber Race will be heavily screened. If you plan to do this race, you need to have completed a few Jr. or Sr. Fieldmaster’s Chases and have foxhunted your horse before being allowed to enter. Contact the NAPPA office for more details. Don't forget about the Field Master's Chase races at the Sanctioned Meets!!!! Look for Field Master's Chase races at meets like Willowdale, Stoneybrook, The Grand National, and the VA Gold Cup.
